end of an odyssey

End of an Odyssy

When the journey begins, you are indifferent and when it ends, ‘it’ is in different Your journey doesnot depend on your actions, words or achievements but it is solely a product of your emotions and your memories.

The measure of success of a journey is not the count of certificates or medals that clink, it is a measure of the love that you have released, of the hearts you have moved and lives you have changed.

The journey from a toddler to a young lad, aptly titled ’1/4 Zindagi’, is perhaps the most retraceable journey- for it teaches us not only the nuances of life, but also its beauty—its perfection and most importantly, its purpose.

The magnitude of a loss is not known till it is incurred…the end was there to see….but to feel it…we had to go the distance… Our Ist farewell…the end of an era… a chapter in the book of life…our first tryst with destiny.

What filled me with turbulent thought and unknown reactions were the faces of people with whom I grew—Simmering emotions that overflew as beads of tears---as people whom I knew as strong, succumbed to the grief of the end.

The most touching picture that will be framed in the wall of my heart will be of my friends—all huddled together—some crying, some consoling….on the last day of school…becoz that is the ‘still’ of what we all are, even today,…innocent children of god, who understands love and friendship.

The buggle has been blown. It may be an end, but it is beginning too…”An Odyssey, a jouney..yes, its over…in this physical world of realities, it may be so…but it shall be played on and on, in the heart of hearts….becoz the driving force is the yearn of returning to class….to teachers who loved and cared and the force that propels our emotions to transcend all boundaries is unknown yet familiar.

“Not farewell, my friends but fare forward.”
